The contest is set to begin at 2 p.m. in a day the features as well "frightening good prices" (one day only) and "free giveways" (while supplies last), according to an event announcement posted at the store, at 845 East Bloomingdale Ave. in Brandon. The store is in the Publix- and Walmart-anchored shopping center at the corner of Bloomingdale Avenue and Bell Shoals Road.
The overall event is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; registration for the pet contest is from 1:30 to 1:55 p.m.
Noted as well is an opportunity to win a $25 gift card and a drawing to win free pet food for a year, some restrictions noted.
