In an effort to lower the high population of dogs at the shelter, all fees will be waived for ready-to-go dogs Friday through Sunday.

BRANDON, FL -- In an effort to lower the high population of dogs at the shelter, all fees will be waived for ready-to-go dogs Friday through Sunday.
Adoption fees for dogs will be waived from 10 a.m. Friday, March 15 through 7 p.m. Sunday, March 17 at Hillsborough County’s Pet Resource Center, 440 N. Falkenburg Road.
The shelter has been at or near capacity for dogs for several weeks.

The Pet Resource Center is the county’s only open admissions shelter, meaning it accepts all dogs and cats regardless of age, weight, breed or health. Dogs and cats are registered, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed before adoption.
