Local Knights of Columbus Chose Knight of the year

This Knight has been a Member of Knight of Columbus for only 3 Years. He has been
a very important member of our Council this past year. He has taken our Community Committee to a heightened level of success. This Knight serves as our Community Committee Director, Tootsie Roll Fund Raiser Coordinator. Council Representative for HOPE (Hillsborough Organization for Progress and Equality) and VAVS Representative Over the past year he has directed our Adopt A Road Program, our Truck or Treat event for our school children at St. Stephen School, and our Tootsie Roll Fund Raiser. During our Tootsie Roll Fund Raiser we raised $2,300 for several local citizens with disability charities. Additionally, he participated in our annual Council and District Soccer Challenges and our Raymond James Fund Raiser. Also, he supported our Christmas Celebration effort with setting and takedown of the Christmas Crèches and supported our Pro Life effort with the setting and takedown of the 290 Remembrance Crosses. Finally, he served as a Degree Team Inside Guard and Warden’s Aide at our Degree Exemplification ceremonies and he sponsored his son as a as Brother Knight. He is a perfect example of what it means to be a Knight of Columbus. He clearly exemplifies the principles of our order - Charity Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. He answers the call for help at every opportunity. He was your Ticket Master for the Clergy Appreciation Dinner and for the 10 Year Anniversary Celebration tonight. He clearly Makes A Difference for our Council and in our Parish and Community. He is an excellent candidate for Knight of the Year.
