Locations That Don't Require Appointments For COVID-19 Vaccines
Hillsborough County residents have a few options to get the COVID-19 vaccines at places that allow drive-ups.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — There are at least three places in Hillsborough County that don't require appointments for the COVID-19 vaccines, according to the Florida Department of Health.
If you have had bad luck getting an appointment, the following locations allow drive-ups:
Tampa Greyhound Track

- Daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Offers Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson
- No appointments/vehicle required
Hillsborough Community College SouthShore Campus
- 551 24th Street NE, Ruskin, FL 33570
- Daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (until Sunday, March 14)
- Offers Pfizer
- No appointments/vehicle required
Plant City Stadium – Starting March 15

Who's eligible at these Federal Vaccination locations?
Those who are 18 and older who work in pre-primary, primary, and secondary schools, as well as Head Start and Early Head Start programs (including teachers, staff, and bus drivers) and those who work as or for licensed child care providers, including center-based and family care providers.
Persons deemed medically vulnerable by a physician can also get vaccinated at this site, according to the Florida Health Department. Those deemed medically vulnerable by a physician, must have this form completed and signed by a physician.
Additional groups who qualify are:
- Anyone who needs a second Pfizer vaccine (even if first shot was given elsewhere)
- Seniors age 65 and older (changes to 60 and older as of Monday, March 15)
- Health care personnel who have direct contact with the public
- K-12 school employees
- Sworn law enforcement officers ages 50 and older
- Firefighters ages 50 and older
