Man Accused Of 2 Killings In 2018 Interviews Jurors: Report
A Riverview Man accused of killing his girlfriend and daughter, and injuring his son, questioned potential jurors Monday for his trial.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Monday, jury selection began in the upcoming trial of a Riverview man, Ronald O'Neal III, who is accused of killing his girlfriend and their 9-year-old daughter about three years ago, Fox 13 News reported.
O'Neal will be representing himself in his upcoming trial in Tampa, according to the news station. Monday, he started questioning potential jurors.
O'Neal is also accused of trying to kill his son, Ronnie O'Neal, Jr, on the same day his mom, Kenyatta Barron, and his sister died, according to the news outlet. The son will testify and tell the jury what he saw. Detectives said Ronnie O'Neal, Jr., survived his father's attack after he stabbed him with a knife. Barron died when she was beaten and shot, and his sister died when Ronnie O'Neal III attacked her with an axe, according to investigators.

"My mom was in the closet and Mom went into the room with my sister, she was just on the ground, she couldn’t speak or do anything, and he kept just hitting her with an ax," the victim said.
