Man Arrested 33 Times Faces The Music Again

Terry Edmondson of Plant City, released from prison in September, was apprehended in Plant City again last week, according to a report from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

 

A deputy on patrol last week, responding to a prowler call at 630 Jerry Smith Road, caught sight of a man walking around a vehicle, its door open, which upon closer inspection showed the contents of the glove compartment "dumped on the floorboard" and damage to the vehicle's ignition, according to a report from the Hilsboborough County Sheriff's Office.

After answering the Jan. 17 call, at around 4:48 p.m., the deputy canvassed the area and "observed a subject matching the description of the suspect in a vehicle on April Lane," according to the report. "The suspect fled on
foot and the deputy gave chase and apprehended the suspect a short distance
away."

A female passenger fled the scene.

"The vehicle the suspects were driving had been stolen from Polk County," according to the report. "Upon inspection of the vehicle, deputies located approximately $20,000 worth of jewelry, two shotguns, camera equipment, as well as other property.

The suspect, identified as Terry Edmondson, 41, of 4202 Drawdy Road, Plant City, also was in possession of methamphetamine.  Edmondson reportedly has been arrested 33 times and was released from Florida State Prison in September.

Edmondson reportedly faces charges of: burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, possession of controlled substance, obstructing or opposing an officer, two counts of grand theft motor vehicle, armed burglary of a conveyance and grand Theft.
