New Tax Collector's Office Schedules Opening Date In Plant City
The new tax collector's office in Plant City has scheduled its opening date after completion of the 17,000 square foot building.

PLANT CITY, FL — The new tax collector's office in Plant City opens Monday to the public by appointments only, a news release said.
The new office is replacing the previous office that was located in the Strawberry Plaza on James Redman Parkway. It was developed on parcels owned by Hillsborough County. The cost for building the new office was just over $4 million, the Hillsborough County officials said.
The new building is more energy-efficient with LED lighting, additional insulation and newer air conditioning units. The lobby is also 30 percent larger than the former office.
