BRANDON, FL — Halloween has become a billion-dollar industry in the United States. Americans are projected to spend $9 billion this year on Halloween-related items and activities, according to the National Retail Federation's annual survey Prosper Insights & Analytics.

While some people opt for store-bought decorations, craft stores like Michael's does a booming business during fall selling craft supplies for do-it-yourself decoration projects.
If you've decorated the interior or exterior of your home with out-of-this world Halloween decorations, carved an especially imaginative jack o' lantern or have a Halloween or fall craft you've made that you're particularly proud to show off, send photos to editor Skyla Luckey, skyla.luckey@patch.com, so we can share them with our readers in a seasonal photo gallery.

When emailing photos include information on your decorations (how you made them, how much time it took, etc...) as well as the following permission statement:"Patch has permission to publish my photo. Please credit the image to [Photographer's Name]."
