Shooting Leaves Woman Dead, Man Injured In Dover; Detectives Seek Tips

DOVER, FL ? The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that left a woman dead in Dover Monday.

At 10:07 p.m., deputies responded to a shooting in the 3000 block of Al Simmons Road in Dover and discovered a woman dead and a man with a gunshot wound, according to a report from the sheriff's office.

The man is in stable condition at this time and is cooperating with detectives, who are still trying to determine a motive for the shooting.
