BRANDON, FL -- Hillsborough County's newest dog park gives dogs and their people more than 2 ½ acres where they can frolic, fetch and socialize.
The new dog park is built on a portion of Bertha and Tony Saladino Park, 1705 Bryan Road in Brandon. The dog park is divided in two, with 1.8 acres for large dogs and 0.8 acres for smaller dogs. Both areas are fenced, providing enclosed havens where canines of all sizes can get fresh air, exercise and interact with other dogs.
Each park includes large swaths of grass for dogs to romp, plus shaded seating, water fountains for people and dogs, and canine agility and play equipment. The project also includes a walking trail and paved parking.
