Surprisingly, anxious kids (Are we there yet?) are not the most stressful part of the trip, according to a poll commissioned by Chevrolet. Nearly 2 in 3 parents say traffic is the most stressful part of the family road trip, the Harris Poll found.

Perfect Road Trip Length: typically 6 hours

Number of Devices On The Trip: Families bring an average of 6.6 devices on family road trips, but Florida parents take more devices (7.8) on family road trips, on average, than U.S. parents overall;

Dads Do Most of the Driving: 75% of dads say they do most of the driving during family road trips, versus 31% of moms;

Children are involved in planning: 67% of parents involve their children in family road trip planning.
Technology use on the road trip: 56% of parents say that having Wi-Fi/internet connectivity would help make their family road trips more enjoyable; 92% of Florida parents agree that in-car technology with navigation and connectivity make it much safer to take a road trip;

Florida Dog Owners + Road Trips: 74% of Florida parents who have a dog agree that they like to take their dog on family road trips.
