Two To Tango? Think Higher, Think Skydiving

Brandon residents who have always wanted to jump out of a plane can now do so for less courtesy of Skydive City in Zephyrhills, with a price reduction for tandem jumps.

Chop $20 off and tandem jump for $189 per person, according to a company news release. Also noted: "additional group, military and student discounts on top of that."

Tandem skydives are designed for anyone, but they are especially good for beginners, according to Skydive City online. As noted:

“Wearing a harness connected directly to the tandem parachute system, you will jump together and accelerate to 120 [miles per hour] (200Kph), free-falling for about 60 seconds. It is about the easiest way to do that ‘first jump.’ ”
