Walk-Up Vaccines Administered In Brandon At Community College
Eligible groups can receive vaccinations without having to make an appointment for a limited time at Hillsborough-Brandon campus.
BRANDON, FL — Eligible Brandon area residents can receive the COVID-19 vaccinations Tuesday and Wednesday at the Hillsborough Community College Brandon campus without appointments, The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce said.
Eligibility groups include: Seniors ages 65 and older, health care workers ages 18 and older, teachers (K-12) 18 years old and older, and firefighters and law enforcement officers ages 50 and older.
Vaccinations are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 9 to March 10, on the southwest side of campus in the Southwest Overflow parking lot. You are not required to register in advance, according to the chamber's Facebook announcement. Signage is posted in the parking lot that gives directions to the vaccine location on campus. 500 vaccinations are available each day.

The second dose will be administered three weeks later at the campus, and will be by appointment only. You are required to bring proper identification for eligibility and a driver's license/ID.
Hillsborough Community College in Brandon is a satellite vaccination site to support the Florida Department of Health and Division of Emergency Management's COVID-19 Vaccination site in Tampa.
