Westfield Brandon Gears Up For Tax-Free Shopping

It's back-to-school shopping season and the Westfield Brandon mall is stepping up to the plate with its "Best of B2S" for area shoppers hoping to make the most of their tax-free holiday shopping.

This year's 2013-14 Hillsborough County School District calendar sets Aug. 20 as the first day back to school for students, who arrive eight days after their teachers.

At Westfield Brandon, in the mall's Center Court, today through Aug. 4, shoppers are invited to participate in family fun events, check out information on deals and discounts and take a shot at winning daily prizes, including "cool gadgets, shopping sprees and more.

On the Westfield Brandon Facebook page, mall officials are keeping shoppers informed of the offerings. Among the posts are the following notices:
