Where to Find U-Pick Blueberries in Tampa Bay
Bay area residents will find many local farms welcome visitors during the height of the season.

Bay area residents with a hankering for blueberries and a desire to have an outdoor experience will find that May is the month when many local growers invite folks out to pick for themselves.
Some of the local farms offering u-pick events during May are:
- BlueYouth Berry Farm – Located at 8201 Cosme Road in Odessa, the farm has a number of u-pick days scheduled, including this Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon. For more details, visit its website.
- Keel & Curley Winery – Located at 5210 W. Thonotosassa Road in Plant City, the winery has an open u-pick blueberry season running at present. The open season for blackberries and peaches begins May 16. For u-pick hours, visit Keel & Curley online.
- Brooksville Ridge Blueberries – Located at 1172 Hancock Lake Road in Brooksville, the farm kicks off its u-pick season Friday. For more details and hours, visit its website.
- Blue Oak Farms – Located at the corner of Powerline and Thompson roads in Lithia, this farm offers u-pick events every Saturday. For more details and directions, visit Blue Oak online.
- Bellablue Berry Farm – Located at 43405 State Road 64 E. in Myakka City, the farm offers blueberry lovers a chance to pick their own. For more details, visit BellaBlue online.
- Whispering Oaks Blueberry Farm – Located at 12429 Denton Ave. in Hudson, the farm is open seven days a week. For more details, visit its website.
