RIVERVIEW, FL — A member of a construction crew was shot and killed Wednesday at a home in Riverview when a gun carried by another worker accidentally went off, according to a media report. The firearm discharged as the second worker slipped while stepping off his pickup truck; the victim was on the roof of the one-story house, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

The crew was performing remodeling work at the house, in the 8900 block of Riverlachen Way, the newspaper reported.
