14-Year-Old Girl Dies After Falling Off ATV On Old Trilby Road

The 14-year-old girl fell off the ATV onto the paved road and sustained serious injuries. She was taken to the hospital where she died.

TRILBY, FL — A 14-year-old girl from Dade City has died after falling off an all-terrain vehicle Sunday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 4 p.m., a 15-year-old girl from Tampa was driving the single-seat ATV on Old Trilby Road north of Trilby Road with two 12-year-old girls and one 14-year-old girl as passengers

The 14-year-old girl fell off onto the paved road and sustained serious injuries. She was taken to the hospital where she died.

Troopers said none of the girls were wearing helmets and the ATV had no seatbelts.
