73-Year-Old Ormond Beach Man Dies In Crash On U.S. 301 In Pasco

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 73-year-old Ormond Beach man has died following a crash Friday on U.S. 301 approaching Owans Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 11:17 a.m. the 73-year-old man was driving a Lincoln Town Car north on U.S. 301 and a Chevy Traverse driven by a 30-year-old Webster woman was headed south on U.S. 301 when the Lincoln Town Car crossed the center line and collided with the Traverse nearly head on.

The Traverse then collided with an unoccupied Ford Focus in a parking lot at 20909 U.S. 301.

The 73-year-old man was taken to the hospital where he died. The 30-year-old woman sustained serious injuries.
