79-Year-Old Man Killed In Crash On Eiland Boulevard

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — A 79-year-old Jamestown, Pennsylvania, man has died following a crash Tuesday on Eiland Boulevard.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 11:15 p.m., a 65-year-old Wesley Chapel woman was driving an SUV east on Eiland Boulevard, approaching Fountain Road. The 79-year-old man was headed west on Eiland in a van when the SUV crossed the center line and struck the van nearly head on.

The 79-year-old was taken to the hospital where he died. The 65-year-old woman sustained serious injuries.
