Archery At Lake Park

Have you always wanted to try 3-D archery? You'll get your chance in June when the Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation department offers a 3-D Archery Shoot.

3-D archery gives participants the chance to shoot at various targets and score based on where they shoot the object.  The goal of 3D Archery is having the ability to guess how far away the target is and knowing where to shoot to get the highest score.

The Gasparilla Bowmen are hosting the 3-D archery shoot for Hillsborough County residents of all ages. The Bowmen will provide 3-D targets ranging from bears to turkeys. Participants are required to bring their own archery equipment.

The shoot will be held on June 23 at 8 a.m.  $2 will be charged per car for entry into the park.The Lake Park Archery Area is located at 17302 N. Dale Mabry in Lutz.
