Boil Water Notice In Effect Thursday Night For Aberdeen Homes

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Due to another round of heavy rain July 24, the planned maintenance on Pasco County's water distribution system in the Aberdeen subdivision of Wesley Chapel near State Road 54 from Curley to Morris Bridge roads beginning Thursday night, July 25.

This affects 186 customers. Customers should expect service interruptions between Thursday at 11 p.m. and Friday, July 26 at 6 a.m., and should boil their water until further notice.

Maintenance work on the New River Lakes Subdivision and Creative World School at 32109 State Road 54 has been completed, but a precautionary boil water notice is still in effect pending water sample test results. This impacts 473 customers.

As a precaution, all water used for drinking or cooking should be boiled for at least one minute.

Ice makers should be turned off, and any ice made within the past 12 hours should be discarded.

Also, turning off power to water heaters during the service interruption windows will avoid damage to the heating elements.

These precautionary boil notices will remain in effect until normal water service is restored and tests show the water is safe for drinking and cooking. Rescind notices will be posted at that time.
