Celebrate Easter in Lutz

Hippity hoppity, Easter's almost here! And there's plenty of ways to celebrate in Lutz.

• Van Dyke Church, 17030 Lakeshore Road, will host a free Family Fun Fest from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 23. 4 to 5:45 p.m.; Egg hunts, games and more from 4 to 4:45 p.m.; worship service from 6 to 7 p.m.; free food and music from 7 to 8 p.m.

• First United Methodist, 960 Lutz Lake Fern Road, will host a Jellybean Jamboree from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 23. Children up to age 11 can enjoy a fun day with plenty of eggs, games, bounce houses, door prizes and more. Bring an empty Easter basket.

• Join 919 Debuel Rd., Lutz, on Easter Sunday, March 31 at 9:30 a.m. for a community Easter egg hunt and free breakfast with the Easter Bunny. The egg hunt is for all children through elementary age and the breakfast is free for everyone.

• Attend one of five Easter weekend celebrations at Idlewild Church, 18333 Exciting Idlewild Blvd. Saturday, March 30, 4 or 6 p.m, features a relaxed atmosphere with band-driven worship and food trucks, 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 31, service with worship choir and orchestra at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m.. Also on Sunday, Iglesia Bautista de Idlewild will host an Easter service in Spanish at 11 a.m. in Hall 1. To learn more, visit www.idlewild.org.
