Want To Get In The Halloween Spirit? Check Out Scream-A-Geddon

DADE CITY, FL — Back for its fifth year of horror, Scream-A-Geddon is outdoing itself with six interactive haunted venues featuring the terrifying props and special effects that earned the seasonal attraction top honors in USA's Best Haunted Houses in 2018.

Set deep within the haunted woods at 27839 Saint Joe Road in Dade City, Scream-A-Geddon allows thrill seekers to explore Rage 3D, Demons Revenge, Blackpool Prison, Deadwoods and Infected: Ground Zero — if they dare.

For an additional charge, intrepid guests can also try their hand at defeating an army of zombies in the Zombie Paintball Assault. After donning 3D glasses, guests board a militarized school bus and travel to a remote section of the woods where they battle zombies using paintball guns outfitted with glow-in-the-dark paint illuminated with ultraviolet lights.

New this year is Bozo's Beer Garden. A horrific version of Bozo the clown will serve guests craft beers from breweries throughout Tampa Bay. Those age 21 and up can share a brew with Bozo's bar buddies: Bobo, Icky and Chuckles.

Rage 3D — Walk through rooms that twist, turn and rotate and walls that close in while clowns and other scary creatures blend in around you.

Demon's Revenge — Visit the village of Avalon, the epicenter of blood magic, witchcraft and the occult where disfigured skeletons and runes litter the woods and townsfolk mysteriously disappeared until the citizenry staged an uprising. They tortured the occult leaders who exacted their revenge by unleashing demons on the villagers.

Blackpool Prison — This is where the worst of the worst were incarcerated until the blackout and prison riot. The only way to get out is to go through these bloodthirsty criminals.

Dead Woods — This small corner of Bearstone National Park is avoided by locals who've heard the stories of the Tates, a family that has called the woods home for five generations and guards it fiercely against intruders.

Infected: Ground Zero — At 12:48 a.m., the ARES Orbital Debris Program detected a car-sized object entering Earth’s atmosphere. The meteorite touched down near a remote campsite in Florida where campers began exhibiting erratic behavior before the area was quarantined and all contact was lost.

Monster Midway — In addition to Bozo's Beer Garden, the Monster Midway features midway games, hot and cold drinks, grilled, fried and baked foods and fire pits to set the mood, a Scream-A-Geddon gift shop, caricature artists and more.

Scream-A-Geddon is open every day through Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.

Tickets are $21.95 to $35.95, depending on the date.
