The best things in life are free, and that old adage certainly rings true when it comes to the Lutz Library.

We perused the facility’s calendar of events. Here are five highlights:

Guitar: Improving Accuracy and Speed: This hands-on workshop is for someone who has knowledge of how to play but wants to kick it up a notch. When: July 20 at 10:30 a.m.

Craigslist: Every wonder how to browse, buy and sell on this much-talked about site? Well, here's your chance to learn. When: July 22 at 2 p.m.

College Matters: Ways to Avoid Costly Mistakes and Discover Funding Sources: Thrivent financial advisor Matthew Oleson will talk to parents. When: July 23 at 6:30 p.m.

Animal Diggers: "Unearth burrowing animals with activities, books, crafts and games." July 25 at 2 p.m.

Discover Prehistoric Florida: The name says it all with this program. Officials with the Florida Public Archaeology Network at USF will bring in artifacts and replicas of ancient tools. July 3 at 2 p.m.
