Guns, Money Stolen During Early-Morning String Of Car Burglaries

Pasco County sheriff's deputies are investigating a string of car burglaries in Wesley Chapel in which several guns and money were stolen.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Pasco County sheriff's deputies are investigating a string of car burglaries in Wesley Chapel in which several guns and money were stolen.

On Wednesday, deputies responded to the Seneca at Cypress Creek apartments where five unlocked cars were entered. The sheriff's office said five people were caught on video entering cars and stealing items around 3:45 a.m.

The sheriff's office said guns stolen from cars are often used to commit other crimes.
