Hot Rods Gets Extension on Slated Foreclosure Sale

The owners of Hot Rods BBQ & Grill are breathing a sigh of relief. The popular eatery was scheduled for a final foreclosure sale on Monday, March 11.

At an emergency hearing on Thursday afternoon, Hillsborough County Judge Sam Pendino granted owners Rod and Helen Gaudin an extension to April 22.

The extra time will allow the Gaudins to raise funds and file counter-suits and complaints at the state and federal level in the case that led to an equitable lien on the property at 18430 Livingston Ave, Rod Gaudin said.
