The home will be built for Maj. Ed Gilchrist, who completed the Air Force Academy in 2005, after which he was selected for pilot training and assigned to the Air Force Special Operations Command. Gilchrist completed five combat deployments, accumulating more than 2,500 flight hours, 500 of which were considered combat hours.

Lennar Tampa invites the community to come to the site of the new home to provide Notes of Love on the wood frame of the home and then stay to enjoy a special Fall Festival on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cortona at Estancia, 4587 Tivoli Drive, Wesley Chapel.
