New General Manager Named For Tampa Premium Outlets

TAMPA, FL, February 25, 2020 – Simon, a global leader in retail real estate, is pleased to announce Chris Durant has been named the new General Manager at Tampa Premium Outlets.

In his new role, Durant will manage all day-to-day operations, maintenance, budgeting, and tenant and community relations, while maximizing career growth within the Simon organization. Additionally, he will be responsible for overseeing the security and marketing initiatives at the center.

No stranger to the Simon family, Durant has enjoyed a successful 6-year career with Simon Property Group. He started as an Operations Director at Merrimack Premium Outlets in Merrimack, NH. He then transitioned into the General Manager role at Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets before serving as the Assistant General Manager at Orlando International Premium Outlets where he was responsible for overall financial, operational, and marketing performances of the centers.

Durant is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance.
