Pasco County To Host Veterans Resource Fair, Memorial
Pasco County will honor the service and sacrifice of its veterans with a Veterans Resource Fair at the Pasco County Fairgrounds Nov. 3.

DADE CITY, FL ---- Pasco County will honor the service and sacrifice of its veterans with a Veterans Resource Fair at the Pasco County Fairgrounds Saturday, Nov. 3.
The event will also feature the Remembering Florida’s Fallen exhibit, a traveling photo memorial of Florida service members killed in action since 9/11. The display spans more than 100 feet and contains personal messages and tributes.
The fair will take place in Higgins Hall, 36722 State Road 52, Dade City from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A ribbon-cutting for the memorial will take place at 10 a.m.

“Pasco County is home to over 50,000 veterans,” said Pasco County Veterans Services manager Donald Stout. “We are home to another 50,000 Pasco residents who are spouses and children of veterans. We want to honor our veterans for their service and pay tribute to those who sacrificed everything for our freedom.”
Participants will include Pasco County Public Services’ Veterans Services and Senior Services; CareerSource Pasco Hernando; Pasco-Hernando State College; Florida Department of Veterans Affairs; James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital Transition and Care Management Team; American Legion Post 15; and the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
