Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Motorcycle In Zephyrhills

LUTZ, FL — A 53-year-old Zephyrhills man has died after being struck by a motorcycle on County Road 54 Tuesday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 8:47 p.m., a 33-year-old Zephyrhills motorcyclist was heading west on CR 54 west of Forbes Road. The Zephyrhills man was walking north across CR 54 when he walked into the path of the motorcyclist.

The pedestrian died at the scene. The motorcyclist fell off the motorcycle and collided with brush on the shoulder of the road. He is in serious condition.
