Shops At Wiregrass To Host Socially Distant Santa Visits

TAMPA, FL — The Shops at Wiregrass, 28211 Paseo Drive, are bringing holiday entertainment to the Piazza Avenue starting this weekend when Santa Claus comes to hear socially distant Christmas wishes.

The shops will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for Black Friday.

There will be strolling entertainment throughout the center Friday, Nov. 27, and each Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 20 from 1 to 5 p.m., including stilt walkers and a talking Christmas tree.

The shopping center will continue its Thursday Movie Nights with holiday favorites "The Grinch" on Dec. 3 and "Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas" on Dec. 12. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy socially distanced family-friendly holiday favorite movies starting at 6:30 p.m.

Contactless visits with Santa will be available by reservation or schedule a family photo with Santa from Nov. 27 to Dec. 24. Get a $25 Shops at Wiregrass Gift Card with prepaid Santa visit reservations Dec. 1-10 only. Check Santa's schedule for hours when he'll be available and review the coronavirus guidelines before you arrive.

• Guests ages 2 and up are required to wear face coverings while in the Santa set area including while the photo is being taken per CDC guidelines.
• Guests will not sit on Santa's lap during their interaction but will still have the opportunity to engage in conversation while maintaining physical distance.
• Guests must maintain 6-foot social distancing at all times including in lines and while visiting Santa.
• There will be increased focus on disinfecting and hand sanitation.
• Santa set staff will wear face coverings.
• Santa will wear a face covering or face shield.
• Santa and his staff will have daily health screenings and temperature checks.
• There will be enhanced cleaning of Santa's set.
• Enhanced cleaning procedures at the Santa set.

A Christmas tree and holiday selfie station is located near Pottery Barn.
