SR 52 Ramp At I-75 Reopens Following Tanker Truck Fire
The exit ramp from northbound Interstate 75 to State Road 52 in Pasco County has reopened.
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL -- The exit ramp from northbound Interstate 75 to State Road 52 in Pasco County has reopened.
The ramp was closed for about four hours on Saturday due to a tanker fire caused when a fuel line caught fire on an empty natural gas tanker. The tanker truck was traveling down the interstate between SR 54 and Blanton Road when it caught fire and pulled off onto the SR 52 exit ramp.
Pasco Fire Rescue was called in to control the fire. The fire briefly closed the interstate in both directions. There were no injuries.
