State College To Host Interactive Panel.

From Pasco-Hernando State College: Pasco-Hernando State College is excited to present a very special presentation in honor of Black History Month. This presentation will take place at the Porter Campus located at 2727 Mansfield Boulevard in Wesley Chapel at 12:30 on Wednesday, February 20th in the conference center.What makes this presentation especially unique, is the content as it relates to the Oscar-nominated Black Panther movie. It is called Wakanda Forever: A look at how Black Panther narrates change, morality and social justice in the world of Marvel Comics.

Presenters - Professor Glynis Williams, Professor Sarah Fede, Dr. Davina Jones, and Professor Joe Ward.Marvel Comics, Professor Joe Ward: The success of the Marvel Comics series, and the record trends of Black Panther as a Marvel Comic.Technology & Change, Professor Glynis Williams: The advancement of technology, who can participate and what do we do with it.Math & Morality, Professor Sarah Fede: The ongoing calculation of what to do, what is right and what is wrong.Speech & Social Justice, Dr. Davina Jones: A narration of American inter-racism, intra-racism, sexism and "justice for all".This is sure to be a spectacular, interactive panel and is very timely because of the Oscars airing this weekend.
