Storm Forces Residents To Vacate 4 Mobile Homes In Zephyrhills

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL -- Pasco County Fire Rescue, Pasco County Emergency Management and Pasco County Building officials are on the scene in the Forest Lakes Estates mobile home park in Zephyrhills where either a tornado or gale-force winds damaged 70 mobile homes at about 7:45 a.m. Thursday.

Four of those 70 homes have been deemed unsafe to live in, and the residents are staying with friends. There are no reports of injuries.

Pasco County Fire Rescue and Pasco County Emergency Management have set up a command center in the Forest Lakes Estates community center.

Firefighters are still assessing damage in the area but the path of damage appears to be confined to the mobile home park.
