Wal-Mart Customer Tried To Use Badly Counterfeited Cash: Police
One officer reportedly had an "extensive history" with the man believed to be using the fake money.

LUTZ, FL — Brendan Michael Sigismondi, who was already being held at Land O' Lakes Detention Facility, is now facing charges of passing counterfeit bills at a Lutz Wal-Mart.
Detective Cardillo identified Sigismondi as the man on a security tape trying to purchase a Wal-Mart gift card with three counterfeit $20 bills. Two of the bills, police said, had the same serial number — a clear sign that they were fakes.
The bills also lacked the "proper security features" genuine U.S. currency carries, according to the police report.
