Patch recently asked this question to two area proprietors. Here's what they said:
- "The most rewarding part about owning your own business is being able to bring jobs to the community. We had over 100 applicants when we opened back in May and although we wanted to hire everyone, we only had 10 positions available. We plan to open more stores and, with that, we will be able to bring more jobs to more communities." -- Ray Perez, co-owner and operator of Happy Cow Frozen Yogurt in Wesley Chapel.Â
- "There’s a lot of things that are great about it. It’s not easy but it’s definitely worth it when you see your guests leave happy. ... The best part is you really take a sense of pride in everything that happens. From sweeping floors to helping guests to doing payroll." -- Trisha Jordan, president and co-owner Element 54 in Lutz.Â
