Winn-Dixie Christmas, New Year's Holiday Hours

Tampa Bay area residents in need of some last-minute items for their holiday menus might want to get their shopping out of the way Christmas Eve.

Winn-Dixie has announced that all of its grocery stores will close down in observance of the Christmas holiday. The stores also plan to close early on Christmas Eve, at 9 p.m.

According to corporate spokeswoman Julianne Roberts, the chain also has plans to adjust hours for the New Year’s holidays. Its locations will close down at 10 p.m. on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Stores in the chain are expected to open at their normal times on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Winn-Dixie stores were some of the only ones open on Thanksgiving Day.

Publix stores throughout Florida also have plans to adjust hours in observance of the holidays.
