Women's Club Awards Scholarships
The GFWC Lutz-Land O' Lakes Women's Club recently awarded thousands in scholarships.
Two area high school students are heading to college with a little extra money in the bank courtesy of the GFWC Lutz-Land O' Lakes Women's Club.
The local club recently awarded two high schoolers scholarships. The Florida President's Education Project scholarships were given to Madison Keller of Steinbrenner High School and Amy Price of Durant High School in Plant City.
Both students recieved $3,000 each. The scholarships were designated for female high school graduates attending an accredited Florida college or a woman returning to college to pursue a career.
