A 27-year-old Zephyrhills woman has died after being involved in a crash on State Road 56 near Oakwood Preserve Drive in Wesley Chapel.
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — A 27-year-old Zephyrhills woman has died after being involved in a crash on State Road 56 near Oakwood Preserve Drive in Wesley Chapel Friday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 6:51 a.m. the 27-year-old woman was driving her car west on SR 56 approaching Oakwood Preserve Drive.
A dump truck driven by a 49-year-old Tampa man was driving east on SR 56 approaching the intersection of Oakwood Preserve Drive.

The woman in the car lost control and entered the eastbound lane where she collided with the dump truck and then landed in a ditch.
She died at the scene.
