Zephyrhills Woman Killed In Crash On Old Lakeland Highway

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — A 40-year-old Zephyrhills woman was killed Friday morning when her SUV collided with a truck.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 7:33 a.m., the SUV was traveling east on Otis Allen Road and stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Old Lakeland Highway when a tractor-trailer truck driven by a 45-year-old Dade City man south on Old Lakeland Highway turned left onto Otis Allen Road into the path of the SUV.

The Zephyrhills woman died at the scene. The truck driver and an 18-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries.
