2021 Municipal Election, New Port Richey

The 2021 Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. All registered voters of the City of New Port Richey will have the opportunity to elect two people to serve as City Council Member and one person to serve as City Council Member to Fill Unexpired Term on the City Council. The City Council Members shall be elected for a term of three (3) years and the City Council Member to Fill Unexpired Term shall be elected to serve for one (1) year. Candidates will be required to indicate which position they are running for office for on their qualifying paperwork. The annual salary is $3,600. Candidates for this municipal elective office must be duly registered voters and residents within the corporate limits of the City of New Port Richey for at least six months prior to the election. Qualifying begins on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at noon and ends on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at noon. No qualifying documents will be accepted after that time. Persons wishing to run for office can receive their qualifying documents Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the City Clerk’s Office, Second Floor, City Hall, 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey.
