27-Year-Old Hudson Man Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Crash
The two-vehicle accident took place Sunday afternoon at the intersection of US-19 and US Alt. 19 and closed parts of US-19 for hours.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FLA. – A 27-year-old Hudson man was killed and two others were seriously injured in a two-car accident Sunday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred at 12:25 p.m. when a sports utility vehicle traveling south in the inside lane of US-19 at the intersection of US Alt 19. collided with the front end of an another vehicle, which was traveling from an unknown direction, the highway patrol reported. After the crash, both vehicles spun and came to a rest in the intersection.
The 27-year-old man was a passenger in the sedan and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released by police pending the notification of family. The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old Hudson man, was seriously injured as was the driver of the SUV, a 46-year-old New Port Richey man. A passenger in the SUV, a 27-year-old New Port Richey man, sustained minor injuries.
