Best New Port Richey Pumpkin Patches 2020

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Along with crisp air and turning leaves, a fall tradition for many families is a visit to a local pumpkin patch. And while the coronavirus pandemic of 2020 has caused some of the region's pumpkin patches to modify how they operate, quite a few will be open this fall. We have hours, attractions and activities as the pumpkin-picking season ramps up.

In many cases, coronavirus precautions have merely changed — not shut down — area pumpkin patches and their entertainment options. Below is a list of some of our favorite pumpkin patches in the New Port Richey area:

Blueberry Blessings Pumpkin Patch

Blueberry Blessings, 13725 Family Trail, Hudson, will host its pumpkin patch Tuesday through Sunday through October from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sweet Fields Farm

The Sweet Fields Farm Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, 17250 Benes Roush Road, Masaryktown, is open weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Nov. 8.

Enjoy a fall corn maze with more than 5 acres of challenging fun for all ages, hay play area, hayride, mini maze, tree house play area, hay maze, tumbleweed rollers, jumpbo foosball, pitcher pump duck races, farm animals, pumpkin painting, food, drinks and the harvest barn. Don’t forget to stop by the pumpkin patch while you’re there.

Tickets are limited and must be purchased online. The cost of the corn maze is $9.75 for ages 3 and up. Children under 3 are admitted for free.

Wesley Chapel Pumpkin Patch

The Pumpkin Patch at The Grove at Wesley Chapel will take place Oct. 10-31 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends and 4 to 9 p.m. weekdays. Pumpkins, squashes and gourdes range in price from $1 to $15. Hay bales and corn stalks will be available as well.
