The Darlington Road Bridge Erosion Control Project is scheduled to begin Nov. 3, and will require closure of the bridge during the day.

HOLIDAY, FL — The Darlington Road Bridge Erosion Control Project is scheduled to begin Nov. 3, and will require complete closure of the bridge during daytime work hours. Crews will install erosion control matting around the stormwater pipe beneath the bridge.

Both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Darlington Road between Hama Drive/Baden Drive and Society Drive will be subject to closure. Traffic west of the bridge will be detoured north using Society Drive and Sunray Drive for access to U.S. 19.

  • Work hours are scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Expect full lane closures with message boards directing traffic.
  • The project is expected to take three workdays, depending upon weather conditions.
  • The target completion date is Nov. 5.

Landshore Enterprises LLC is the contractor for this Pasco County Department of Public Works project.
