Detectives Seek Tips In Fatal Shooting Of New Port Richey Man

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying those responsible for the homicide of a New Port Richey man.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying those responsible for the homicide of a New Port Richey man Sunday morning.

Pasco sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a shooting at the Sunoco gas station on Moon Lake Road in New Port Richey and found Matthew Parrish, 52, critically injured after being shot.

Parrish was taken to the hospital where he died.

Detectives learned that Parrish had been shot at his mobile home near the intersection of Olsen Street and Fuller Avenue and are trying to identify people who were seen near Parrish's home before and after the shooting.

Detectives said an SUV and two motorcycles were seen on surveillance cameras heading south on Olsen Street toward Gurnee Avenue.
