Driver Killed In Crash At U.S. 19 And Main Street

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A driver has died following an accident Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. and Main Street.

According to New Port Richey, around 7:30 p.m., the driver of a black Scion was attempting to turn east onto Main Street when it was struck by a vehicle that ran the red light at the intersection while traveling north on U.S. 19.

The driver of the Scion was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle had minor injuries.
