College football season is just weeks away, and one Florida team is highly favored for a stellar season.
The Florida State Seminoles football team garnered the No. 1 spot in the pre-season Amway Coaches Poll, released Thursday by USA Today.
Following a 2013 undefeated 14-0 season, the Tallahassee group, led by quarterback Jameis Winston, is considered the team to beat during the upcoming NCAA football season.

FSU garnered 56 out of 62 first place votes in the coaches’ poll.
Teams rounding out the top 5 in the pre-season poll include The University of Alabama Crimson Tide, the University of Oklahoma Sooners, the University of Oregon Ducks and the Auburn University Tigers.

Seminoles football plays its season opener in a nationally-televised matchup against the Oklahoma State University Cowboys on Aug. 30.
