Jersey Mike's Subs To Open In Plant City Oct. 9

PLANT CITY, FL — Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced, fresh grilled subs, will open in Plant City on Oct. 9

Franchise owner Mark Verlangieri will hold a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, Oct. 9 to Sunday, Oct. 13 to support Derrick Brooks Charities.

The new restaurant, located at 504 E Alexander St., is circulating 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $3 contribution to the Derrick Brooks Charities. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.

“We are so excited to bring Jersey Mike’s Subs to Plant City and we are proud to partner with Derrick Brooks Charities to help raise money for a great cause,” said Verlangieri. “Derrick will also be signing autographs on Nov. 23 starting at 2 p.m. so we sure hope you will come out to help us celebrate next week.”

Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised more than $41 million for worthy local charities and have distributed more than two million free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes. In 2019, the company’s ninth annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving in March raised more than $7.3 million for more than 200 charities throughout the country.

Started in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has 2,000 restaurants open and under development nationwide.
