Get Your Motors Running For Cotee River Bike Fest

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts have converged on New Port Richey for the Cotee River Bike Fest,which continues on Sunday.

The event includes live music, bike shows, a bikini contest, a charity poker run and craft beer.

Live bands will perform on two stages.

The Cotee River Bike Fest was founded 14 years ago by the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce as a way to celebrate the motorcycle culture and promote local businesses in New Port Richey. Organizing the event this year is Farrell Cares Inc., a charitable arm of local contractor Team Farrell. Presenting sponsors are Harley Davidson of Port Richey and Fran Haasch Law.

Proceeds from this year's event will be split between The Angeles and Children's Burn Foundation. Jeeps vs Harley will auction off a Harley Davidson motorcycle and jeep, with proceeds going to the West Central Florida Chapter of Concerns for Police Survivors (COPS).

The Firefighters Fire and Iron Motorcycle Club Poker Run on Saturday will benefit the Children's Burn Foundation. Registration will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Harley-Davidson of New Port Richey, 5817 S.R. 54.
