More than 130,000 Vote-By-Mail Ballots To Be Distributed In Pasco
More than 130,000 vote-by-mail ballots for the Nov. 3 general election will be mailed on Thursday, Sept. 24 to Pasco County voters.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — More than 130,000 vote-by-mail ballots for the Nov. 3 general election will be mailed on Thursday, Sept. 24 to Pasco County voters with requests already on file.
Ballots to military and overseas citizens were mailed Sept. 18.
Voters have three options for returning their voted ballots, which must be in the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. Election Day, including ballots being returned via USPS. Please allow enough time for delivery.

Voters can track their ballot and opt to receive text or email messages using Ballot Scout on the elections office website. Vote-by-mail ballots may also be hand delivered to any of the three Pasco County Supervisor of Elections offices or at one of the attended vote-by-mail ballot drop boxes located at all 14 early voting sites.

If there is an issue with a ballot signature, the resident will be notified.
Voters still have time to request vote-by-mail ballots by using the online request form, by calling 800-851-8754 or by submitting a written request including date of birth, signature and Pasco County residential address. Voters are encouraged to confirm their mailing address when ordering a vote-by-mail ballot.
Florida's statutes prohibit vote-by-mail ballots to be forwarded to another address, but they can be mailed to a temporary mailing address outside of Pasco County by submitting a signed written request. Written requests should be mailed to P.O. Box 300, Dade City FL 33526. Requests are fulfilled immediately, with ballots being mailed daily.
The deadline to request a ballot to be mailed is 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Written or telephoned requests for vote-by-mail ballots must come from the voter, an immediate family member or a legal guardian of a voter.
Voters may pick up ballots for themselves at any of the three elections offices beginning Sept. 24, but not for someone else until nine days before the election or Sunday, Oct. 25. Those picking up ballots on behalf of someone will need a written request from the voter designating them as the person authorized to carry out the ballot. The designee will be asked to provide a photo ID and to complete an affidavit before releasing the ballot to them.
The Pasco County ballot for the Nov. 3 general elections will include candidates for president of the United States and U.S. Congressional District 12 candidates incumbent Gus Bilirakis, R, and Kimberly Walker, D.
Additionally, Pasco County voters will choose among Pasco County superintendent of schools candidates incumbent Kurt Browning and Cynthia Thompson; Pasco County District 3 Commission candidates incumbent Kathryn Starkey and Jessica Sempien; Pasco County District 5 Commission candidates incumbent Jack Mariano, Brandi Geoit and Victor Rodriguez; and mosquito control commission candidates Randy Evans, Seth Weightman, James E. Bailey, Shanon R. Holm and Gary W. "Buck" Joiner.

Early voting in Pasco County begins Monday, Oct. 19 and runs through Saturday, Oct. 31.
As of Wednesday, Pasco County has 387,183 registered voters. Of those, 155,940 are Republicans, 116,898 are Democrats, 107,965 have no party affiliation and 6,380 are affiliated with other parties.
